Cancer in the male organs that make male hormones and sperm (testicles). The testicles are located inside a loose bag of skin (scrotum) underneath the penis. Symptoms include a lump in either testicle,or a feeling of heaviness in the scrotum. Treatments include surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Testicular cancers are divided in two main variants seminoma vs non- seminomatous germ cell tumours. Tumour markers done include serum B- HCG, AFP and LDH. Germ cell tumour of the testis have an excellent prognosis.
