Oral Cancer
Cancer that develops in any part of the mouth. Risk factors include tobacco use, Usual symptoms are progressive increase size of an ulcer, growth or mass, bleeding from ulcer, trismus or inability to open mouth adequately.
Treatment includes surgery and radiation therapy. In some cases, chemotherapy may be required.
- Composite Resection with Neck Dissection with reconstruction ( pedicled and microvascular)
- Glossectomy(Partial glossectomy, hemiglossectomy and subtotal and total glossectomy with neck dissection may be needed)
